I was checking out my stumble upon and this came up… Long time, Eygptian Gumbo, long time!

- Shirien, you can have my baby brother, infact I can hear him screaming right now, total cuteness mashaAllaah. Seriously, he looks like one of the those baby’s (if you take the picture correctly lol)

I agree with the sentiments though. May Allaah ‘azza wa jal protect our kids. Though inshaAllaah with the muslim youth of today and culture the practicing crowd have bought about, alhamdulillah, I hope and pray their will be some change.

Just have to deal with the other end of the sphere, of those who have bought up a crazier culture and that is to go further away from Islam.

Oh fun times as we grow up, fun times indeed… of change and better things inshaAllaah

I’m definitely trying to make plans to go inshaAllah. I have a sister who is ready to come with me. Just looking for 1 or 2 more.

One of my friends just moved to houston, so alhamdulillah she offered to host us. mashaAllah.

That is the million dollar question though, isn’t it? And seeing as we will never know for sure, then that should serve as our inspiration. Increasing ourselves in knowledge does not only affect us, but affects the people around us as well. The more knowledge we attain, the better our ties will be with those around us (as long as the 3ilm is transferred to 3amal – i.e. is displayed through our actions).

May Allaah 3azza wa Jal make us of the righteous women, and make our children of the righteous. Ameen.

But hey, you have my email. If you’re up to it, just let me know and we’ll hook you (and your friends) up with a place to stay. Hosna’s hospitality is unbeatable. Us gals have a whole house to ourselves . Make istikhaara, tie your camel (as in sign up and pay) and prepare some extremely embarrassing, painfully humiliating home stories lol. They’ll all come out
